Remember this little master bedroom sneak peek I gave you? Gee, that was like so last year. Today I share with you the real pictures.
Well that was a long time in the waiting.
Before
There was this awkward nook over in that corner and the client and I decided the best thing to do was to make a built in for extra storage and to display accessories. With the exception of that piece in the nook and a settee, we got rid of everything.
After
The couple definitely needed a bigger bed.
The room was painted in a mauve, inspired by the color my client often wore on her nails.
The artwork to the right were all hand-drawn by my client. She found a few pieces she drew way back in the day and I for sure thought they needed to be displayed.
Before
We had a tv unit custom made and a frame to wrap around the television, making it less of an eyesore.
After

This settee definitely needed some work. We both really liked the shape so we decided to have it reupholstered and placed it at the foot of the bed.
And in the back there you see the furniture piece that was in that awkward nook from above. It fit perfectly on this wall.
Client is happy and that makes me happy.
And on that note, Happy Tuesday!

A dramatic difference for the better. Wow, Irene!
I am running out of witty and creative things to say when you wow me, Miss Irene, it just happens so *OFTEN*! (c: Holy Hannah, that settee just made me realize that my life is sadly lacking an insanely wonderful settee, that one is *bonkers*. That shape is divine…and is the rest of the room…built-ins and TV frame = GENIUS.
Ummm yeah, this is amazing. I’m crushing on those linens. They’re simple, but so clean and pretty.
You did an amazing job! You make me wish I could hire you (and that’s probably not very good for me, since we were both Design majors!) You are truly talented.

Wow. What a beautiful transformation! You took the room from something that was ho-hum to a space suitable for a write-up in a magazine. Great work!!
