For vain reasons, I refused to become a coffee addict. Drinking it, maybe, a few times a month.
The Husband's theory is that coffee makes you smarter. Ookay.
Now that I drink it every day, I'm still waiting to become brilliant.
How do you drink your coffee?
I have mine with sugar and milk.

Warm Enough for A Picnic
After a morning of successful flea market shopping with my friend Mrs. T - no relation to Mr. T - I came home energized and ready to check things off not on my to-do list. It's early and we have extra daylight, what can I do now? I have a bunch of pending projects to work on and my ADD only allows me to work on pending stuff in five minute intervals, so let's work on something I can actually focus on. An impromptu picnic that requires a simple table setting.
Look at me, I'm on a roll.
This is fun stuff ladies and gentleMAN.
And the only thing spent was my mental agility.
I spy placemats and pink glasses seen in my garden party and ikat bowls from Thanksgiving.
Wahoo.

When I'm Lazy and Don't Know What to Blog About, I Make My Dog Pose for Pictures
Now I know what you're thinking, Oh My God, she's so cute. And yeah, she is. Until she bites your toes early in the am, tears up your new shoes and gives you attitude for trying to clean her crusty eyes. If you put your nose close enough to the computer screen, you can practically smell how dirty she is. That's not to say we don't bathe her. Because we do. Sometimes three times a day. Yes, three. Because this girl will go right back outside to roll around in the dirt just to protest cleanliness.
She's happiest living in dirt and eating anything in sight. Sometimes I wanna give up and say, fine, live outside little homeless girl. And then she does something super cute like hide her treats from her big brodog and we find them in the fireplace or behind doors and think, aw, that Nora is a smartypants. You could stay.
When I was forcing Nora to pose for the camera, I thought, hey now's the perfect time to share this bench I had reupholstered. And this new pillow. And my new jazzy, shimmery pink shoes that remind me of Olivia Palermo's shimmery silver shoes.
There you have it, a whole lot of my mumbo jumbo for the day.
Man Oh Man
Sometimes I like to scour the men's department before hitting the women's. Not just because I'm in charge of selecting The Husband's wardrobe, but because the button-up selection is just better in the men's section. And the sweater situation is especially perfect during this time of year. I'm all about smart shopping and when The Husband gets to sport a nice cable-knit that I get to borrow, well then the cost-per-wear is surely worth it. Yesterday it wasn't a button-up or a sweater I had my eye on, it was a weekender bag. And I just might have to convince The Husband he "needs" it for his next business trip, which coincidentally I'll be attending. I think you know what I'm alluding to.

I spotted these hand printed romantic art prints from Art Shark over at this blog and have considered purchasing the ones of cities The Husband and I have traveled to, even if we've never traveled with a pair of red umbrella(ella ella eh eh)s.

High-Heeled Foot in the Door
Off to the doctor to check out this numbing pain I've hand in my right hand for two weeks. I think it may be phone related. Yikes. Will try to post later today. In an effort to be more blog-topic productive and stay focused (you know how wild the mind runs), I've decided to make a schedule.
Monday - Music to My Eyes (you know the drill)
Tuesday - Bargain Bin (searching for unbeatable sale items so you don't have to)
Wednesday - stILe finds (sharing stylish products from furniture to shoes and the occasional miscellaneous )
Thursday - I Like Your stILe (where I scour the web looking for inspirational room and/or outfits. Heck, I may even try to reproduce a few a la bargain)
Friday - Friday You're So Random (all things I didn't get to post during the week and as random as the title implies)
Hope you'll continue to tune in to this regularly (we'll see how long it goes) scheduled program. I'm also open to ideas, suggestions, critiques, so if there's anything you'd like to see covered just leave a comment.

Papermash
I found out about this British shop, papermash, from one of my dailys, A Cup of Jo, and was swiftly eager to share their products with you.
I think wine connoisseurs are silly and pretentious. I'd keep it real with one of these tags, which are awesome and quite funny.
If this wasn't so girly, I'd buy this for Evan who literally loves lists.
I prefer drinking my Red Bull and (sometimes) coffee through a straw, these would be the perfect complement.
